I pay for it here too not because I earn or wealthy but-to free it up for those who can’t. It costs me just over£50 to see the Sorry I Am Already Taken By A Freaking Awesome Girl She’s A Bit Crazy And Scares Me Sometimes Shirt But I will love this hygienist. I’m in my 40’s and so far teeth/gyms are in good health. Worth it. I’ve been at the same dental practice my whole life, it has always been part of the NHS but you do pay for check-ups and treatments at a cheaper rate than going private. Problem is people who aren’t registered with a dentist who then expects to be seen immediately when they have a problem if you register and then go to your annual check-ups I don’t see an issue. We can’t get NHS dentists, in a smallish town there are 2 practices, first one turned completely private, the other was built, but about 10 years later the NHS ones stayed a year or so, left, now not a single one for the whole area which really includes the villages around.

But we have heard from US pharma lobbyists that drug prices will be part of new Trade Agreement talks. He said it was unfair that US patients should be paying so much more for certain medications. So what do you think will happen? Will pharma bring prices down there, or will the UK patients see their prices go up?
